This years comic relief talent showcase organised by Miss Quigly, Miss Renfree and some year 10 students gave FRA students the opportunity to have some real fun and show off their diverse talents
We started off with some amazing dancing from Leo Walker, Scarlett Harvey-Bate and Kayleigh Wirizlay after a beautiful piano introduction from Alfie Molyneux. Hosting the entire event was Mr Horton, Alfred Commander and Damon Masters, with their terribly wonderful jokes. This was followed by some outstanding musical performances including Kieran Paul, Ellie Webb, Moli Slatcher, Lucie A’Lee and Charli Pallet. The final dance performance was from the joyous twins Aggie and Maggie Jecna who really embodied the spirit of Comic Relief. Closing the show and then bringing the house down was Vanessa Reynolds supported by her backup singers Miss Gill and Miss Stanton. The whole day and particularly the afternoon showcase was an excellent celebration of the amazing talent we have here at Fowey River Academy and with added bonus of helping an awesome charity in Comic Relief. Overall the school raised £529.70. Thank you for your support.
