Its been an exiting week in History with the Y11s finishing their final exams. They have been a pleasure to teach and have stayed positive throughout the course. They deserve every success this summer. Year 8 and 9 continue to impress with their depth of knowledge and interest. In Year 8 we are studying female suffrage – students surprised how much has changed  since the Suffragette movement and in some ways how some attitudes stay the same. Y9 Historians have moved on from the Medieval ideas about blood letting and looking at urine, to studying some key historical figures whose discoveries have had an impact on our lives.
