On 19th March 2019 the whole of year 10 visited the Cornwall Skills Show at the Royal Cornwall Showground. The event comprised of numerous stands and interactive experiences to allow students a glimpse into a wide range of career opportunities. The careers encompassed everything including the care sector to hospitality horticulture and agriculture and all the services. Our students were able to get hands on as beauty technicians, air traffic controllers, chefs and even dairy farmers. It was an excellent event, both informative and engaging and the students did the Academy proud with their polite attitudes and professional dress. Miss Hick and Mrs Ghillyer said that the FRA young people were a joy to be with and a number of the stall holders commented on how pleasant our students were.
