We got to the ferry at 7:45am and left at 9:15am. When we arrived at the Isles of Scilly, we went to Five Islands School and got ready for the race; we made friends with some of the Mounts Bay students and met Mrs Dale. Although the weather was rough, we still found the event fun. The race was challenging but we would definitely recommend it to others and would do it again. The next morning it was an early start to watch the adults compete in the adult Otillo. The whole experience was amazing. The race was a 5k run with 1k swimming (although we were only allowed to wade because of the conditions)
