We are warm, friendly and welcoming to visitors, but in these times we have to make some adjustments to how we do things.
The arrangements described here are in support of the national response to COVID-19 that everyone is expected to fully cooperate with to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our pupils and staff as well as any other persons visiting our academy.
We have a legal obligation as far as is reasonably practicable to put measures in place that will minimise the risk of infection or transmission of COVID-19 and will require all visitors to follow these as set out below.
You must not visit the academy if you or anyone in your household:
- Are unwell (any symptoms) or has any COVID-19 type symptoms
- Are waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test
- Live at an address in a local locked down area
- Are required to quarantine after returning from travel overseas in the past 14 days
All visits must be pre-arranged and approved.
Entry to the academy is only via the Main Entrance to Reception where contact details will be taken as part of the NHS Test and Trace programme.
Visitors must wear a face covering (unless exempt).
Visitors are accompanied at all times and must follow all instructions given by their host.
Visitors must observe social distancing, hand washing and hygiene protocols at all times.
Visitors must understand and accept that some parts of the school may not be accessible whilst in use.
As and when government guidance to schools is updated the Academy reserves the right to apply any additional measures required to meet our statutory obligations.
